The Head of Cleaning and Hygiene at a locomotive train station will be responsible for ensuring that the station is clean and hygienic at all times. This includes managing a team of cleaning staff, developing and implementing cleaning schedules, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure the station is clean and hygienic at all times
• Manage a team of cleaning staff, providing direction and guidance as needed
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and reorder as needed
• Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring all expenses are within budgetary constraints
• Minimum HND or BSc in Environmental Health, Public Health, or relevant field
• 3-5 years of experience in a cleaning or hygiene role, preferably in a transportation or hospitality environment
