Internal Control Officer

The job of an internal control officer at a locomotive train station is to ensure that the company's operations are conducted in compliance with established policies and procedures, and to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.

Developing, implementing, and monitoring internal control policies and procedures

• Conducting regular audits to identify areas of risk and non-compliance

• Advising management on best practices for internal control and risk management

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

• Investigating any suspected fraud or misconduct and reporting findings to management

• Minimum HND or BSc in relevant field

• 3-5 years of experience in an internal control, audit or compliance role

• Strong knowledge of internal control principles and practices

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
