Job Summary
  • The job of an internal control officer at a locomotive train station is to ensure that the company's operations are conducted in compliance with established policies and procedures, and to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.

General Duties
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring internal control policies and procedures

    • Conducting regular audits to identify areas of risk and non-compliance

    • Advising management on best practices for internal control and risk management

    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

    • Investigating any suspected fraud or misconduct and reporting findings to management

  • • Minimum HND or BSc in relevant field

    • 3-5 years of experience in an internal control, audit or compliance role

    • Strong knowledge of internal control principles and practices

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
