Senior Network Engineer

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining our telecommunications infrastructure. You will work with a team of engineers to ensure our network systems' reliability, performance, and security, supporting a wide range of communication services. This position requires advanced technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

Network Design and Implementation:

•Design and implement robust and scalable network solutions to meet business requirements.

•Evaluate and select appropriate network hardware and software.

•Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network efficiency.

•Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

•Implement network security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.

•Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats.

•Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.

•Prepare reports on network performance and incident responses for management review.

•Work closely with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects.

•Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and other IT staff.

•Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

•5+ years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a telecommunications environment.

•Extensive experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).

•Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

•Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.

•Strong understanding of network security practices and technologies.

•Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization technologies is a plus.
