Job Summary
  • Our client, a prominent financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fund Manager to lead the development and execution of the fund’s investment strategy. This role involves managing daily trading activities, driving fund growth, and maintaining effective relationships with investors to achieve maximum profitability.
     


General Duties
  • Investment Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive investment strategies to enhance fund performance and profitability.
    Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to gauge market sentiment, enabling informed investment decisions.
    Fund Administration: Oversee the day-to-day management of the fund, ensuring smooth operational activities and effective execution of strategies.
    Fund Growth: Actively drive the growth of the fund by executing strategies to increase assets under management, and achieve profitability targets.
    Portfolio Management: Manage retail, institutional, and high-net-worth individual (HNI) portfolios, taking into account market opportunities, competitive landscape, and growth potential.
    Investor Relations: Maintain strong communication with investors and fund subscribers, providing updates on market trends, investment performance, and strategic outlook.
    Market Knowledge: Stay current on trends in both Nigerian and international financial markets, as well as economic developments, to inform strategic decision-making.
     


Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
    Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in fund management roles.
    Certifications: Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, ICAN, ACCA, or CIS are required.
    Track Record: Proven experience in managing funds and achieving profitability, with strong knowledge of equities and financial markets.
    Skills: Exceptional financial management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    Regulatory Compliance: Must be an SEC-compliant individual, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
