Accountant

We are currently looking for qualified professionals to fill the role of an Accountant in our prestigious Firm

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
•Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
•Reconciliation of the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers·     
•Keep a record of the company’s fixed Assets and maintain fixed assets register.
•Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
•Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
•Assist with budget preparation and review 
•Manage the company’s ledgers and accounting records.
•Manage day-to-day financial transactions. 
•Monitor business expenses in line with the approved budget
•Monitor petty cash and reconciling records
•Analyze financial performance.
•Achieving personal financial targets as advised by management. 
•Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management. 

Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in a financial role in the financial sector.
•Professional Membership: The candidate must have the ICAN or ACCA-recognized professional qualification 
•Good knowledge of I.F.R.S and current tax laws is mandatory.
•Good Knowledge of MS Excel & relevant accounting software.
•Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in numerate or semi-numerate disciplines such as Accounting Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Banking, Finance, Insurance, and Business Studies.
•Age: 25 – 35 years
