Security Guard/ Security Personnel

The Locomotive Train Station Security Guard/Personnel will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the train station, its personnel, passengers, and property. The successful candidate will be expected to patrol the premises, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to security incidents as needed.

• Patrol the train station premises to prevent unauthorized access and monitor for suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and access control systems, to ensure the safety and security of the station.
• Respond to security incidents such as theft, vandalism, and trespassing in a timely and professional manner.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct security checks of passengers and their luggage in compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
• Monitor the movement of trains in and out of the station and ensure that they are safe and secure.
• Provide directions and assistance to passengers and staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents and other relevant information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a security guard or similar role.
• Knowledge of security procedures, surveillance systems, and access control systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR would be an added advantage.
