Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Development Manager to lead and drive new business opportunities within our Infrastructure & Construction unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background combined with excellent business development and strategic planning capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead new business development efforts for Infrastructure & Construction projects, covering Technology, Infrastructure, and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives.
  • Achieve business development and sales revenue targets as set by the Board.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development roadmap for the Infrastructure & Construction stream.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads, converting them into profitable business deals.
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisition opportunities.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of high-quality RFQs, RFIs, and other business proposals.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships by delivering commercially viable and strategic solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver senior management and board-level presentations, ensuring timely follow-up on action points.
     


Requirements
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • MBA or equivalent in Business Management is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure and Construction engineering-driven products and services.
  • Ability to design and propose practical engineering solutions tailored to client challenges.
  • Expertise in analyzing and articulating client business needs into strategic solutions.
  • Extensive techno-commercial experience, with a proven record of preparing high-quality responses to complex RFPs under pressure.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, especially at boardroom level.
  • Track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities successfully.
  • Demonstrated strategic, creative, and innovative thinking capabilities.
  • Results-oriented with a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding business development targets.
  • Ability to leverage business intelligence tools and insights to drive commercial goals.
  • Strong sales orientation and the ability to introduce and grow new product lines.
  • Prior business development experience within the Infrastructure & Construction sector is essential.
