Job Summary

The ideal candidate will oversee the efficient processing of remittance transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of funds. The advertised role involves working closely with various internal teams, external vendors, and customers to facilitate seamless and reliable remittance operations.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively and efficiently collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful remittance for transfers from the United Kingdom to Nigeria.
  • Ensure the coordination of various operational aspects of remittance, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, banking partnerships, and customer onboarding processes.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as IT, Compliance, and Customer Service departments to address any technical or operational challenges encountered during the remittance process.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and challenges in the remittance industry, particularly in the Nigeria-UK corridor.
  • Provide ongoing support to customers and address any inquiries or issues related to the remittance application or operations.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for internal staff on the features and functionalities of the remittance application or provide assistance, as the case may be.
     


Requirements
  • Prior experience of not less than four years working in the International Money Transfer Operator (IMTO) sector in Nigeria is a must.
  •  
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing the remittance industry in Nigeria.
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
