Job Summary

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Regional Head, Sales Products & Propositions to drive business growth, expand market share, and enhance product adoption across designated regions. This role requires a strategic sales leader with deep expertise in banking products, sales strategies, and regional business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sales teams, developing tailored propositions, and ensuring revenue targets are met.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the South-South, South-East, and Edo/Delta regions.
• Drive product penetration across different customer segments, ensuring strong market adoption.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative sales approaches to increase profitability.
• Ensure alignment between regional sales efforts and the bank’s overall strategic objectives.
Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing regional sales team to achieve set targets.
• Provide coaching and performance management support to team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product development and marketing teams, to enhance product positioning and value proposition.
Customer & Market Expansion
• Strengthen relationships with key clients, institutional partners, and high-value customers.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to refine sales strategies.
• Develop and execute customer acquisition and retention plans tailored to regional dynamics.
Risk & Compliance Management
• Ensure adherence to banking regulations, compliance standards, and corporate policies.
• Monitor sales performance and mitigate risks associated with product sales and client engagement.
• Provide periodic reports on market trends, sales performance, and key business insights to senior management



Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or sales leadership.
• Proven track record of driving regional sales growth and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, customer propositions, and financial market trends.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans with measurable impact.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze market data to drive informed decisions.
