Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability.
- Manage contracts, procurement, and tender documentation.
- Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and provide financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk analysis and suggest cost-effective solutions.
- Negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize costs.
- Assess completed projects for variations and final cost adjustments.
- Provide expert advice on value engineering and cost-saving strategies.
- Use software tools like CostX, AutoCAD, and MS Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, NIQS) is an advantage.
- Proven experience in cost estimation, contract management, and procurement.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software such as CostX, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction laws, contracts, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
